ClickPay Customer Service: Phone, Email & Who to Call
Short answer
ClickPay's resident support number is 1-800-533-7901 and its email is support@clickpay.com; live chat is at clickpay.com/Help. ClickPay can fix logins, payment methods, AutoPay and failed transactions. It cannot change your balance, waive a late fee or alter a convenience fee — those belong to your property manager, so call them first for anything about what you owe.
The contact details
| Channel | Details |
|---|---|
| Phone | 1-800-533-7901 |
| support@clickpay.com — you get an automatic reply with a ticket number | |
| Live chat and help centre | clickpay.com/Help, which opens ClickPay’s support site |
| Hours | ClickPay’s published support sheet gives Monday to Friday, 9 am–5:30 pm Eastern |
| Language | English and Spanish |
| ClickPay Customer Support, 433 Hackensack Avenue, 6th Floor, Hackensack, NJ 07601 |
The phone number, email and address all appear in ClickPay’s user agreement and its support sheet, and the number matches its BBB profile. The support sheet is not dated, so if you call near the edges of those hours you may find them slightly different.
Some large management companies give residents a ClickPay number specific to their portfolio, printed on the branded login page or in their welcome email. That is normal — a branded portal under clickpay.com is still ClickPay.
Call ClickPay or your property manager?
This is the question that wastes the most time. ClickPay moves the money; your property manager decides how much you owe. ClickPay’s own help articles say your balance comes from the management company’s system as a periodic upload, and its current terms say payment disputes must be resolved directly with the property you paid.
| Problem | Who fixes it |
|---|---|
| Can’t log in, locked out, password reset | ClickPay |
| Activation or welcome email never arrived | ClickPay |
| Adding or removing a bank account or card | ClickPay |
| AutoPay won’t save, or ran on the wrong date | ClickPay |
| Payment failed or shows an error | ClickPay |
| You can’t find your account number | Property manager |
| Balance is wrong, or a payment isn’t on your ledger | Property manager |
| Late fee you think is unfair | Property manager |
| Convenience fee is too high | Property manager — they choose the fee plan |
| You want to pay a different way (cheque, bank bill pay) | Property manager |
| A charge on your bank statement you didn’t authorise | Your bank first, then both |
If a payment shows as completed in ClickPay but not on your ledger, ask ClickPay for the confirmation and transaction details, then send them to your property manager. That one email usually ends the back-and-forth.
Before you call: what to have ready
- The property name and unit exactly as they appear on your statement
- Your ClickPay username or email
- The confirmation number, date and amount of the payment in question
- The last four digits of the bank account or card used
- Any ticket number from an earlier email
ClickPay support will never need your full password or a one-time verification code. Anyone asking for those is not ClickPay.
Watch out for fake support numbers
Searching for a company’s phone number is a common way to land on an impostor. Scam listings and ads imitate support lines to collect logins, bank details or “verification fees.”
- Use 1-800-533-7901 or a number from clickpay.com or your property manager’s paperwork.
- Do not call a number from a sponsored result or a third-party directory.
- Never read out a one-time code sent to your phone to someone who called you.
- Ignore look-alikes such as
clickpay.com.sa, which is an unrelated payment company in Saudi Arabia, and any domain that is not exactlyclickpay.com.

If you can’t get an answer
Escalate in this order, and keep a written record at each step.
- Email support@clickpay.com and keep the ticket number, even if you have already called. Email leaves a trail a phone call does not.
- Write to your property manager with ClickPay’s ticket number and your payment confirmation attached. For balance problems, this is the step that actually fixes things.
- File a complaint with the BBB. ClickPay is not BBB-accredited but does respond to complaints there, and a written response often moves a stuck case.
- Contact your bank if money left your account and was not applied — especially if you are inside the 60-day window for disputing an electronic transfer.
- Complain to a regulator. The CFPB complaint portal covers money transfer and bank account problems, and your state attorney general’s consumer office — or New Jersey’s Division of Consumer Affairs, where ClickPay is based — handles consumer complaints too.
ClickPay’s terms send unresolved legal disputes to binding arbitration rather than court, with a small-claims exception. That is the end of the road, not the beginning — almost every problem is settled at step 1 or 2.
What to do next
- Decide who owns the problem using the table above.
- Call 1-800-533-7901 or email support@clickpay.com for login and payment problems.
- Email your property manager for anything about your balance or fees.
- Keep every ticket number and confirmation until the payment is on your ledger.

Frequently asked questions
- Is 1-800-533-7901 really ClickPay's number?
- Yes. It appears in ClickPay's own support sheet, in its user agreement and on its Better Business Bureau profile. Use it, or a number your property manager gave you, rather than one from a search ad.
- Does ClickPay have an email address for customer service?
- Yes — support@clickpay.com. ClickPay says every email gets an automatic reply with a ticket number. Keep that number; it is the quickest way to pick up the thread later.
- Does ClickPay customer service speak Spanish?
- ClickPay says its call center is bilingual in English and Spanish, and it publishes Spanish-language resident guides. Ask for Spanish when you call or chat.
- Why does ClickPay keep sending me back to my property manager?
- Because your balance comes from your property manager's system, not ClickPay's. ClickPay's current terms say payment disputes must be resolved directly with the property you paid. ClickPay can see the transaction; only your manager can change what you owe.
- Where is ClickPay located?
- ClickPay's user agreement and BBB profile give its address as 433 Hackensack Avenue, 6th Floor, Hackensack, NJ 07601. The legal entity is NovelPay, LLC, a subsidiary of RealPage.
